Bussell Highway, Cowaramup
This park is a beautiful little oasis in an already gorgeous little town. It’s a park made possible by the local Lions Club.
The actual playground is tiny and is made up of a large circular swing and rotunda. But the playground is surrounded by loads of lush green grass, a little rocky creek and lots of natural areas for children to use their imaginations.
As it’s in the town centre, it’s easy to grab a snack or coffee and wonder over to Pioneer Park to enjoy it.
With plenty of picnic tables and a bbq, the park is a wonderful spot for a family bbq.
Our boys loved putting a few coins in the wishing well and “patting” the cows too!
The park has toilets – yay!!
Best features – the park is a great natural haven and has so many natural features that your kids will love to explore.
Negatives – the playground is really quite tiny and not the major draw card here. Definitely not the place to be if you’re looking for a playground to keep the kids occupied for a few hours. Also, be careful of the magpies (they didn’t swoop at all, but were very friendly and tried to steal our food!).

Meet your Chief Park Reviewers! Haze is 4 and loves to climb as high as he can and always finds a way to climb up the slide rather than down it. His favourite playground equipment is the swing. Tex is 16 months and he loves to swing, slide and give mummy a heart attack by attempting to fly off unguarded platforms. They tell me they have the best job in the world!
