If you’re looking for a new park experience, then this is the park for you! Beautiful Bridgetown is not that far from Bunbury, just 90 kms in fact! We recently had a family getaway in Balingup, and we took a day to head into Bridgetown and explore the beautiful parks and playgrounds in the town.
By far the best park in Bridgetown is Memorial Park, situated on the main street and close to coffee shops and cafes! Perhaps our favourite thing about this playground is that it’s fenced! This is such a relief if you have a runner, or even just multiple kids and you want to relax, knowing that you’re not having to chase them down the street.
We loved that there was so much on offer at this playground – it’s the kind of place you could take the picnic basket and spend the whole morning – wearing the kids out, ready for a nap or rest time when you get home.
The playground is well maintained and very colourful, making it inviting for kids of all ages. We loved that there were separate areas catering for different ages and stages, meaning that it would suit large groups, or families with children of different ages.
There are toilets available in the park.

Happy Park Time!
Meet your Chief Park Reviewers! Haze is 4 and loves to climb as high as he can and always finds a way to climb up the slide rather than down it. His favourite playground equipment is the swing. Tex is 16 months and he loves to swing, slide and give mummy a heart attack by attempting to fly off unguarded platforms. They tell me they have the best job in the world!
